Home is where the green chile is.

Hello from my beautiful home state of New Mexico! I'm on the road spending some quality time with family and friends. It has been an amazing trip and I've also been gathering some thoughts to blog about. I hope you are all doing well and am look forward to my next blog post...when I get to a computer, since I'm sending this from my phone (gotta love technology). New Mexico is a magical place where all of my senses become awakened.  It's the place I love most and is where I started my journey to work in mental health. Nationwide, we rank within the top five for suicide rates. Many factors, such as high poverty and a large rural land make access to mental health resources difficult, and contribute to this statistic. This also includes being kind and patient with ourselves. With love, Ane <3

I am worth it (say it out loud…it feels really good). Nothing in this world comes easy. It is a place with many unknowns and some disappointments. And while we have no power over what lies in the path for tomorrow, or in the actions of others, we can find peace in knowing the intent and power of our words, actions, and most importantly self-worth.  Knowing your worth is powerful and allow

My New Year's resolution for 2012 included being "Financially Fit." If you didn't read my blog for that week, here's the link  http://www.seebelieveandachieve.com/2012/01/2012.html  or you can scroll through down find what changes I've committed myself to working on for 2012. I am happy to report that things are on track thanks to a budget formula from finance guru Suzie Orman (LOVE her!). About two years ago, I watched a special where she provided this budget tool. It has put my spending habits in check and keeps me focused on reaching my goal to be financially fit. I have found this to be helpful, but you may need to make adjustments according to your own situation. However, it is a great start! Having my finances in order helps to keep my mental health balanced, especially during tough economic times. I hope you find the information below helpful and that it aids to get you back on the money track. I'm sure am glad I wrote her formula down at the
